Snow Much Fun

I've heard nothing but talk of snow for the last week. Salt has been strewn across every inch of pavement for 5 days now. Signs are posted in the foyer: Alerte de météo, la neige arrivera ce weekend!

And arrive it did. For one night, and one night only, Nantes was transformed into a gorgeous snow globe. And the population went wild. Late night snowball fights broke out everywhere, even on the tram. 

Turns out I only despise snow when I have to deal with it from November to March, when I have to drive in it, and when I have to shovel it. 

Here in France, this once a year event was quite a treat.
